I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Georgia State University. I study American Politics, focusing on Race, Political Behavior, and Electoral politics. Broadly, I study how voters make decisions in electoral settings and specialize in Black vote choice during congressional primaries. I utilize both quantitative and qualitative methodological approaches in my research. My research tends towards causal analysis with randomized experimental methods, and I use large-N statistical analysis, focus group interviews, and case studies. I also have experience teaching American Politics at the undergraduate level. I taught courses on American Politics, African American Politics, and Voting and Elections in the US.
